OffTopic: The Haunted Ghostship

This is Offtopic.

Today was hunting for this ghostship, it was not an easy task, the way to the ship was hard terrain, i slipped on the mountain, on the way down, i damaged my lens and arm. Its almost like i wasnt supposed to go there...When i finally arrived at he boat, it was a ghost like atmosphere...

The findings from the few last days

Here is the results of the last few days carspotting, most of the photos was taken today during a roadtrip. The white Scorpio and the sad 900 was the first sights of the day, and not so positive... Then i saw the beatyful Renault Sport spider, one of the few Renaults that i can say i really like!! but i dont like the softtop...The last of the photos is the one of the Vauxhall Manta, which is a bit strange, the first Vauxhall Manta i have seen in Sweden, we are use to The Opel version of the car.

This weekends Carspotting

This weekend i had a little bit of time for Carphotography, the first picture is actually the last picture i took today, sunday evening. Its the new Saab 9-5, its still quite unusual evenhere in Sweden. I am happy everytime is see it!

Here is another thing that makes me happy every time i see it! The Toppola!! I really want one!

I think they are genius, practical,not beautiful, but very cool!! Totally the weigth on the car is increased with only 115 KG with the toppola.

Report from The Saabsunited October fest

October fest 2011

I had a visit today at the Saabsunited october Fest at Saab Ana in Trollhättan, Sweden.

It was a nice day, started a little bit foggy, but after a few hours the sky was blue and the sun was shining, the temperature was even quite high for the swedish fall.

When i had entered the Ana showroom, Maptun started a seminar, and they had a own part of the showroom where they showed their models.

The Saab 9-4X and the New Saab 9-5 sportscombi was exhibited, and the Hirsch models.

You could also see Saabsunited's "Project car" the White Saab 99 rally replica.

Outside Saabsunited historic rally teams Saab 99 was displayed.

With visitors from Sweden, China, Norway, Finland, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands and more, there was quite a lot of people. It was nice to see a lot of people far from Trollhättan that were visiting the event. Saab Ana used parts, had a sale of new older parts.

Saab 9-3 rescue car spotted in Sweden.

I spotted a Saab 9-3 rescue car in Årjäng, Sweden this weekend. Even in Sweden the 9-3 is very rare to use as Rescue car, this is the only car that i have seen. I have spotted this car once before, and i am happy that its still in use.

Aston Martin Lagonda

I think this is the first time i have seen a Lagonda in real life, i was very surprised when i found one in Karlstad a few weeks ago. I have dreamed about this car since i was a little kid...

Lagonda was a luxury foor door saloon, built by Aston Martin in Newport Pagnell, England. Only 645 cars was produced between 1978-1989. The car is famous for the futuristic design, and the futuristic interior panel that was before its time.

Alone Saab 99 combicoupe

I took a couple of pics of this alone Saab 99 combi coupe Automatic here in Karlstad Sweden a few weeks ago, i have followed this car a few years now, and according to the register its made 1976 and the last MOT was 2006, so it was probably leaved on the parking lot some time during 2006. Its sad to see when nature taking back the car.... its getting worse everytime i see the car.

First post on the new blog

Hi everyone, welcome to my new car spotting blog! My name is Robert, i am a 30 year old car fanatic(specially Saabs), from Karlstad in Sweden, This first spotted car is very modified Volvo Xc90, six wheel drive pickup. I found it on the local hospital here in Karlstad a few days ago. This car is for sale at the moment on the local internet ad site called Blocket.se, you can find it here. A couple of years ago i saw this car on a couple of carshows in Sweden. Its modified by a company called dalbo fordonsteknik, they modifying Volvos on custom order.
